Mai pies let me show you them

Okay so it was one pie, but the pecan pie I baked was a hit. Even I was happy with how it turned out and it wasn't messy at all. Actually the whole meal my mother and I slaved away on turned out fantastically. The turnips and parsnips in rosemary were especially a hit and I'm glad I suggested making them. But everything was good and I am pleased as punch. This has probably been my favorite Thanksgiving ever because I feel it's the one I put the most work into and also no icky Russian food was present. I have a lot to be thankful for this year and I could talk about them but I'd feel silly. So anyways the pie was delicious, and so was the rest of the food I made and I'm grateful for that alone.
